Today we continue looking at the Lord's instructions to the Church at Ephesus. Also, we find the conditional promise to all overcomers given at the end of the letter.

"To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of My God."

Today on the Gospelstudy podcast, we start chapter 6 of Galatians, and Paul's intructions, "Brothers, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness, looking out for yourself lest you also be tempted."
Then he reminds us of our own susceptibility to temptation:
"For if anyone thinks that he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself."

I fear that sometimes we as the Church of Jesus Christ, have forgotten the importance of "good works."

In this week's message, we look at the Church of Ephesus, and the Lord's commendations for this Church:

"To the messenger of the church of Ephesus write, 'These things says He that holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
"I know your works, and your labor, and your endurance, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you tested those who say that they are apostles and they are not, and you found them to be false;
and you have endurance and you have born patiently on account of My name, and you did not become weary."

Today on the Gospelstudy podcast, the Apostle Paul reminds us, Gal 5:24 "They that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts."

He also reminds us, "Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another." (vs 26)

Let all that we do bring glory to the One who is worthy of all glory and praise, and that is, the Triune God!
