Remember that old song, "Looking for love in all the wrong places?" Well, Christians need to remember that we're "Looking for Satan in all the wrong places!" Let me ask the question: Where will you find the devil today? In the bar? In the nightclub? Certainly those are all the obvious places where you will find him. But how about the more subtle places? The very first recorded words of the devil spoken in the Bible is this: "Has God indeed said?" (Gen 3:1) Satan always attacks the veracity of the word of God. Let me ask the question again: Where will you find the devil today? I'm glad you asked. You'll find that the devil is a card carrying member of The Bible Translators' Club. Matter of fact, he is on the board of directors. Now please examine this verse out of the New English Bible, which, by the way, is a highly respected Bible translation: 2 Tim 3:16 "Every inspired Scripture has its use for teaching the truth and refuting error..." Here's the very same verse taken from The New King James Version: "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness..." Do you notice the difference? All it takes is a little doubt. That's all Satan needs, and that's all Satan uses... Just a little subtle doubt. "Hath God indeed said?" Let's look for the devil where he is truly working today--corrupting the word of God, like he has been doing since the beginning. "For we are not ignorant of his devices." (2 Cor 2:11)

Ephesians 2:19 "Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God." Again Paul is comparing our former condition with our new condition. |

The direction of the Church of Jesus Christ is going the opposite direction from the course of this world, led by the Pied Piper of Hades. The Angels at the end of the age will be taking only those who are called out, and following the Light of this World. What direction are you going in today? |

The Title speaks for itself. Can He boast of you like He did of Job? Are you on God's rolodex?
