Today we continue our study in Matthew chapter 24; specifically looking at 2 groups of signs that the Lord has given us that point to His imminent return.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not disturbed; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matt 24:6)
For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. (Matt 24:7)
But all these things are the beginning of birth pains. (Matt 24:8)
Then they will hand you over to tribulation and they will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations, on account of My name. (Matt 24:9)
And then many will fall away, and they will betray one another, and they will hate one another. (Matt 24:10)

Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls being full with the seven last plagues and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the wife, the bride of the Lamb." (Rev 21:9)

And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying out; neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away." (Rev 21:4)

Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." (Rev 21:5)

And He said to me, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give from the spring of the water of life freely to him that is thirsty. (Rev 21:6)

He that overcomes I shall give to him these things, and I shall be God to him, and he shall be to Me a son. (Rev 21:7)

But the cowardly and unbelieving and sinners and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and drug users and idolaters and all who are false shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." (Rev 21:8)

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And there was no more sea. (Rev 21:1)

Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having been prepared like a bride having been adorned for her husband. (Rev 21:2)

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them. (Rev 21:3)

Are believers present at the Great White Throne Judgment?

I won't say that we'll answer that question today, however we will look at it today on Gospelstudy!

And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to their works. (Rev 20:13)

Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. (Rev 20:14)

And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the lake of fire. (Rev 20:15)

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled. And no place was found for them. (Rev 20:11)

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged by the things having been written in the books, according to their works. (Rev 20:12)

And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to their works. (Rev 20:13)

"...And he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, whose number is like the sand of the sea. (Rev 20:8)

They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. (Rev 20:9)

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone where also the beast and the false prophet are. And they shall be tormented day and night forever and ever. (Rev 20:10)

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled. And no place was found for them. (Rev 20:11)

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. (Rev 20:1)

And he seized the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, he who deceives the whole world, and he bound him for a thousand years; (Rev 20:2)

and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and locked and sealed it over him, so that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a short time. (Rev 20:3)

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who had been beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus, and on account of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and they did not receive the mark on their forehead or on their hand. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for the thousand years. (Rev 20:4)

But the rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. (Rev 20:5)

Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection. Over these the second death has no authority, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him for a thousand years. (Rev 20:6)

Now after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison, (Rev 20:7)
