Today we continue our study in Matthew chapter 24; specifically looking at 2 groups of signs that the Lord has given us that point to His imminent return. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not disturbed; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matt 24:6) |

And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying out; neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away." (Rev 21:4) Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." (Rev 21:5) And He said to me, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give from the spring of the water of life freely to him that is thirsty. (Rev 21:6) He that overcomes I shall give to him these things, and I shall be God to him, and he shall be to Me a son. (Rev 21:7) But the cowardly and unbelieving and sinners and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and drug users and idolaters and all who are false shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And there was no more sea. (Rev 21:1) Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having been prepared like a bride having been adorned for her husband.
