1 John 3:14 says, "We know that we have passed over from death to life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love his brother abides in death."

What is the true evidence that a person has been born again?

It's right here in the Word of God.

John 13:35 says, "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

1 Cor 12:13 says that "By one Spirit we were all baptized into one body."

James said, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by means of my works."

And the greatest of these is love.
