Today we start looking at 8 great truths revealed in these first 5 verses.

"Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

"Who was delivered up for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification."

For a lack of titles, I have named this "The Apostasy of Peter."

The study is on 2 Thessalonians 2:3, and the statement:

"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is unveiled, the son of perdition..."

We are going to let the Bible answer both of these, regarding where to go to find their fulfillment. Starting with the first one today.

For the promise that he should be heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. (Rom 4:13)
For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, (Rom 4:14)
